Advanced Practice Registered Nurses / Physician Assistants
Doctor Urgent Medical Care was inaugurated in November 2018 by Dr. Denise Nuñez, the first Latin American Intensive Care Pediatrician to open an Emergency Center in which all its rooms are fully equipped with the machinery needed for ICU care. Dr. Nuñez founded Doctor Urgent Medical Care to bring quality medical care to the most destitute people. Focusing mainly on the Latino community who often do not have access to quality medical care.
We are currently looking for a Physician Assistant that will fulfill the following:
Provide healthcare services, under the direct supervision of a physician who has the knowledge and expertise necessary to supervise the job functions of a Physician's Assistant. Conduct complete physicals, provide treatment, and counsel patients. May, in some cases, prescribe medication. Must graduate from an accredited educational program for physician assistants.
Understanding and use written information that may be presented in a variety of formats, such as text, tables, lists, figures, and diagrams; select reading strategies appropriate to the purpose, such as skimming for highlights, reading for detail, reading for meaning, and critical analysis.
Express ideas and information in written form clearly, succinctly, accurately, and in an organized manner; use English language conventions of spelling, punctuation, grammar, and sentence and paragraph structure; and all written communication to the intended purpose and audience.
Understand, interpret, and manipulate numeric or symbolic information; solve problems by selecting and applying appropriate quantitative methods such as arithmetic, quantitative reasoning, estimation, measurement, probability, statistics, algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
Organize and structure work for effective performance and goal attainment; set and balance priorities; anticipate obstacles' formulate plans consistent with available human, financial, and physical resource; modify plans or adjust priorities given changing goals and conditions.
