The Senior Analyst, External Assessments will support the Risk and Oversight function of Coniferâ��s Ethics and Compliance program. The Senior Analyst will be responsible for coordinating, tracking, and reviewing responses to external assessments and audits. In addition, the Senior Analyst will analyze audit activity to identify new and emerging compliance risks. The Senior Analyst will often partner with the following functional compliance areas in your work: Revenue Cycle Compliance, Consumer Protection Compliance, Third Party Oversight, and Value-Based Care Compliance. Additionally, the Senior Analyst will partner with Operational, Client Delivery, and client Compliance leaders to facilitate completion of external assessment requests from government agencies, clients, and other third party auditors.
Understanding the audit process and developing relationships with the business through regular conversations is key to your success in this role. The Risk and Oversight team has the responsibility to detect and mitigate risk throughout the organization and we will accomplish this goal through this position by:
Coordinating operational, corporate, and, where applicable, client responses to external assessments
Tracking and analyzing external assessments responses throughout the business
Partnering with Operations to ensure complete and appropriate responses
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

External assessments management:
Coordinates, records, and tracks external audit requests received from government agencies, clients, and 3rd parties to ensure timely completion
Advises operations on the audit process and in crafting strategic, accurate audit responses
Reviews operational audit responses to confirm completeness and appropriateness
Tracks the progress of external assessment corrective action plans and submission of implementation evidence
Analysis & reporting:
Assist with the analysis and reporting of compliance and enterprise risk assessment efforts
Builds reporting solutions and develops dashboards and other key reports to clearly communicate external assessment results to Conifer leadership and business partners
Supports process improvement efforts by analyzing external assessment findings to identify potential areas requiring further compliance testing
Maintains the integrity of compliance program data to ensure accurate records and effective reporting
Conducts compliance monitoring and testing activities when additional support is needed
Tracks corrective action plans created as a result of compliance monitoring or testing, working with the business to ensure implementation of required remediation

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Bachelorâ��s Degree in Business, Health Care Administration or related field or commensurate experience preferred.
Two to four years of auditing, external audit/ assessment recipient, or related analyst experience required.
Healthcare experience, particularly revenue cycle management, is preferred.
Certified Healthcare Compliance (CHC) OR Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP)
