Work Hours/Shifts:
Full-time Day Shift-ED
You Will Be Responsible For:
Reviews patient satisfaction results with staff at staff meeting and through other avenues of communication
Discusses ways in which employees can contribute to patient satisfaction
Responsible for dept payroll including collaboration with employees, payroll office and other departments as needed
Conduct staff meetings and documenting meeting minutes
Complies with Joint Commission Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations
Coordinates staffing needs, which may include selection, screening and interviewing potential new hires
Ensures employees are oriented within Murray Medical Center and their respective department as well as reviewing employees' job description with the new hiree employee
Qualifications
What You Will Need:
Minimum of three years experience practicing as a Registered Nurse
Two years of leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare setting preferred
Current Georgia RN License
ASN Degree required; BSN preferred
BLS, ACLS & PALS required
Job Summary:
The Manager will be responsible for all the following duties and responsibilities in collaboration with the Department Director. These will include, but are not limited to: customer satisfaction, financial management, regulatory compliance, human resources issues, employee competency, performance improvement, maintaining and complying with policies and procedures and regular communication with employees. The Manager provides leadership and oversight with all unit functions and patient care issues on a day-to- day basis. Occasional duties and responsibilities will occasionally occur outside of typical office hours.
