Summary
The Emergency Medical Tech / EMT assists Emergency Department nursing personnel as required. The Emergency Medical Tech / EMT performs procedures for which they are prepared in a safe and efficient manner under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The Emergency Medical Tech / EMT reports all pertinent information to appropriate personnel.

Education
High School Diploma or equivalent
Required licensures/certifications
- EMT/Paramedic Certification or
- PCT Certification or
- Foreign Medical Graduate
- BLS certification
Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of principles of patient assessment skills, including performance of EKG�s is a must. Computer skills preferred. Bilingual preferred
Experience
Minimum of one (1) year as a PCT,EMT or Foreign Medical Graduate
