You Will Be Responsible For:  

• Serves as resource for all patient placements within the hospital. 
• Maintains a professional, collaborative and congenial rapport with internal and external contacts.
• Makes all patient placement decisions in accordance with patient diagnosis, appropriate unit criterion, patient acuity and patient location.
• Initiates, promotes and/or participates in interdisciplinary collaboration regarding patient placement.
• Identifies needs and operational improvement opportunities to improve patients’ access and bed turnaround. 
• Supports and promotes excellence in customer/guest relations.
• Supports, promotes and participates in community service activities.
• Serves as a single point of contact for all patient placements within the hospital. 
• Maintains communication with referring physicians and transferring hospitals regarding anticipated bed availability or access delays. 

• Graduate of a school of nursing
• Current valid State of Florida or multi state license as a Registered Nurse
• Bachelorâ™s or masterâ™s degree in Nursing (Preferred)
