Continuous announcement accepting applications for the following areas: White River Junction, Vermont Bennington, Vermont Brattleboro, Vermont Newport, VT Rutland, VT Burlington, VT Keene, NH Littleton, NH The LPN is a member of the health care team and functions with a high degree of independence, is self-directed, displays initiative and good judgement. Duties include but are not limited to: Administers patient care using the nursing process. Identifies emergencies and intervenes appropriately. Performs nursing procedures and therapies according to policies and procedures. Performs support duties for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Function as a member of the interdisciplinary team in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the patient's treatment plan. Documents patient care using the electronic medical record. Communicates to patients and families the rationale for treatment, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Establishes therapeutic relationships with individual patients. Creates an atmosphere of mutual trust, acceptance and self-worth. Work Schedule: Full Time; Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. / If working in White River Junction, Vermont, occasional Saturday coverage may be needed as well.
