Occupational Medicine Physician Lead

MedWise Urgent Care is accepting applications for the position of Occupational Medicine Physician Lead.  MedWise exists to use empathy as a driver of improved patient care and seeks to develop relationships focused on the prevention of injury and the promotion of safe work environments.  The Occupational Medicine Physician Lead will provide direct care to patients who have had their health impacted by work or their work impacted by health.  Responsibilities for this full-time position will include: oversight of care provided by advanced practice providers, direct patient care to employees of MedWise’s partners, oversight of Occupational Medicine throughout MedWise’s network of clinics and leadership within the various worker’s compensation programs with which MedWise is affiliated. Qualifications include: MD or DO with ability to obtain unrestricted active medical license in Oklahoma and willingness to serve as supervising physician for advanced practice providers.  Although board certification in Occupational Medicine is preferred, consideration will be given to physicians who complement their board certification in another specialty with sufficient work experience in the field of Occupational and Environmental Medicine.  To inquire, please send a CV to https://medwiseuc.com/careers.
