What You Will Need:
2 yrs of current Assistant Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse experience in an inpatient acute facility, Emergency Department preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology required.
Computer proficiency require.
Associate or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited school required.
Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Current Florida Registered Nurse license required.
BLS, ACLS, PALS required
The Emergency Department Technician will be responsible for providing basic nursing care to the emergency patient utilizing judgment and skills based on knowledge acquired through didactic and clinical training. Performs clerical duties and surveillance of arrhythmia monitors. Works under the direction of the RN in compliance with established process standards, structure standards and protocols of the ED.
