Technical career path equivalent to the IS MGR I position in the IS Management Career Path. Recognized expert in at least 2 or more Information Management disciplines such as Data Modeling, Database Administration, ELT Development, etc. This role will be primarily hands-on, and this resource will be expected to provide experience, guidance and mentoring to other team members in addition to being heavily involved in the design and implementation of major projects. The Consultant is responsible for partnering with technology and business leaders to develop and implement enterprise level best practice strategies for technical area.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Tactical, hands-on focus on multiple on 1 or more strategic Information Management project(s)
Data Warehouse / Application Development & Integration (data architecture, data modeling, data repository build, data sourcing, data integration & staging, reporting & analytics/view creation).
Data Integration including data services integration, data services modeling, data services quality and transformation, data services performance, data services delivery & virtualization of the data.
Database Administration, Data Security & Audit Management, and Data Quality Management
Collaboration on strategy: active participation in the creation of the architectural and technology strategy and implementation roadmap for assigned technical area.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

5+ years as a Senior Developer, DBA, Data Modeler or Technical Analyst with expertise in at least 2 Information Management technical disciplines
Recognized as a technical and subject matter expert within Conifer.
Excellent Information Management technical skills
Ability to constructively mentor less-experienced technical resource.
5+ years of experience with full application development lifecycle ( analysis, architecture, design, development, testing and deployment)
3+ years of experience in enterprise Business Intelligence projects.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
4 Year College Degree in Computer Science related discipline preferred.
Equivalent on the job experience will be considered in lieu of a 4 Year College Degree
5+ years of managing databases in a healthcare-related field
7+ years of DBA experience managing enterprise-level database environments.
7+ years of DBA experience with SQL Server and / or Hadoop (or acceptable similar database management systems)
5+ years of DBA experience with managing data warehouses, data marts, cubes and big data
Full life cycle experience creating, maintaining and enhancing physical database structures
Deep understanding of relational theory
Expert SQL skills
