M Health Fairview is looking for a part- time MRI Technologist at Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina, MN.Imaging Technologists provide services to patients and physicians through the creation of high quality diagnostic imaging, provides quality age-appropriate patient care according to established standards of practice, and works collaboratively with all members of the health care team
The MRI Technologist functions independently based on the boundaries of professional practice in performing all major work responsibilities. This role is responsible for performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements.
This is a benefit eligible position(.6 FTE), 8 hour work days,primarily assigned to theevening shift.
This position will work 6 days on and have 8 days off.
Positions within the department are not regularly scheduled to takeon call services.
Southdale offers 24/7 Imaging services to Inpatient Units and Emergency patients.
We have outpatient access Monday-Saturday's.
The position in the MRI department would offer imaging care to all patient classes.
The technologists work collaboratively within the Imaging team and amongst varying levels of clinical practitioners.
The MRI technologist will provide imaging services to a wide variety of examinations from Neuro, Body, Muskuloskeletal, Breast and Vascular. .
Department may be willing to train for MRI experience
Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
ARRT MRI certification or successful completion within 18 months of hire
