The Neonatal NP works as an independent health-care provider, collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to deliver quality care to newborn infants in our Level II 6 bed NICU and nursery coverage. Establishes a medical diagnosis; orders and evaluates diagnostic studies; monitors therapeutic procedures and manages follow-up plans. Participates and conducts newborn resuscitation to current employees in multiple departments
12 hour shifts Day/Night
EPIC EMR System
Graduate of an accredited Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP)program. Recent experience in NICU desired. Knowledge of the philosophy behind the neonatal practice, physical assessment, and management of acute and chronic patient / family issues.
