The Registered Nurse Clinical Coordinator (RNCC) is responsible for planning, assessing and providing optimal patient care for the normal and high risk/acuity patient. The RNCC is the lead on a team composed of a transport nurse, transport respiratory therapist and emergency medical technicians, all of which are under the medical control of a Texas Licensed Physician. The RNCC serves as a clinical and educational resource to the Children's Hospital and conducts outreach in the primary and secondary market. The RNCC assists the Nurse Manager with the management and overall operation of the department
Must have graduated from an Accredited School of Nursing
Must have a current license without stipulations to practice nursing in the state of Texas.
Must have a current BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP Certifications for Healthcare Providers.
ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications must be obtained within 30 days of transfer or employment
Preferred National Certification within one (1) year of employment.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
Must speak and write English fluently.
Minimum of 2 years working experience as a Registered Nurse.
Preferred two (2) yearsï¿½ experience in a pediatric critical care unit.
Preferred trained as BLS and PALS instructor, moderate sedation, TNCC and
