UHS is currently searching for a Director of Ambulatory Operations - Urgent Care. This individual will direct ambulatory growth via operational excellence and patient experience metric reporting, analysis and strategy. Area of responsibility encompasses all UHS Acute Division markets and various ambulatory service lines, with primary focus on Urgent Care.
Establishes strategic growth plans, grows services, ensures efficient and effective operations as well as ensures resources are in place to achieve success.
Manages any service contracts and/or Corporate partnerships.
Assists local markets with the development and implementation of new Urgent Care initiatives, as well as seeks Corporate Leadership approval.
Provides subject matter expertise and collaborates with local market and Corporate resources on various operational performance improvement initiatives.
Identifies and executes initiatives that improve care, reduces cost and improves financial performance.
Ability to move between strategy and execution
Ability to execute and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated leadership and initiative in healthcare service excellence and business growth
Strong quantitative & analytical skills
Comprehensive knowledge of hospital and integrated health system operations
Proven ability to communicate effectively with senior executives
Unimpeachable integrity, work ethic, respectful demeanor and inclusive collaborative approach
Masters degree required - MBA or relevant equivalent graduate degree
10 years experience leading Ambulatory Operations with comprehensive knowledge of ambulatory and integrated health system operations (specifically Urgent Care)
