Nemours is seeking a Clinical Trainer (Primary Care), FULL-TIME to join our Primary Care team in Orlando, Florida.
Nemours primary care practices provide a kid-friendly, family-centered pediatric primary care experience for families in Central Florida. With 17 primary care and six urgent care practices conveniently located throughout the region, we provide quality, professional pediatric services with special attention on preventive care and whole-child wellness.
Works in collaboration with the Quality Manager for Clinical Operations, practice managers, and the Medical Director to assist with the training and assessment of all clinical associates of CHA. Serves as a role model, an educator, and facilitator in the delivery of high quality pediatric care.
Utilize principles of adult learning to assess and analyze educational needs of clinical associates, identify objectives, plan and implement educational programs.
Train and assess all new clinical associates and participate in 90-day evaluation.
Carryout an annual competency assessment of all clinical associates.
Conduct regular visits to all CHA offices to assure on going quality clinical performance and compliance with policies and procedures.
Provide clinical consultation and serve as resource for all CHA locations.
Maintain professional practice knowledge base, standards of care and familiarity with all procedures and labs done in CHA offices.
Work in a non-training clinical capacity at least 20% of time.
Associate's Degree or certification/license required.
LPN, RN or Paramedic license in Florida is required OR Would consider a MA with teaching experience.
Pediatric experience required.
Teaching experience preferred.
Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years experience required.
AHA BLS Certification required upon hire.
CPR Trainer certification can be obtained after hire.
