We have an exciting opportunity for two Trauma Nurse Coordinators who will, as part of the Trauma Program team, be responsible for the planning, development and implementation of the Trauma program goals and operations to provide excellence in patient care as well as assist Legacy Health facilities in meeting the requirements of trauma specific regulatory bodies.
In addition, one of the two Trauma Nurse Coordinators will specifically be tasked with the Trauma Registry and will be responsible for the validation and timely submission of the pertinent data to the State Trauma Registry, National Trauma Data Bank, and Trauma Quality Improvement Program (TQIP).
In the second position, the Trauma Nurse Coordinator will focus as well on Performance Improvement (PI), coordinating performance improvement reviews of all trauma cases.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent experience, and a minimum of one year of experience in caring for trauma patients in an acute care, emergency, or critical care unit. Master’s degree in Nursing and three to five years’ experience preferred.
