The region’s leading network of healthcare providers, Inspira Health Network is seeking
an Emergency Room RN to join the team. You will perform patient assessment, determine priority of care and provide any immediate interventions. Responsibilities include analyzing assessment data, formulating and implementing plan of care and evaluating effectiveness in collaboration with medical staff and in accordance with the policies and procedures of IHN. Position schedule: 7am-7pm w/every other weekend and holiday.
Two or more years of RN experience in an Emergency Department
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing with current licensure in the State of New Jersey
BSN required for all new hires by December 2019
American Heart Association BLS; American Heart Association ACLS and American Heart Association PALS required within 6 months of hire
CPI initial for new hires within 60 days followed by annual de-escalation training provided by Inspira
Cardiac dysrhythmia required within 6 months of hire
Critical Care Course within 1 year (or 3 years CC experience)
Completion of the Trauma Nurse Core Courses taught by the Emergency Nurses Association within 12 months of assignment, or followed by a minimum of eight contact hours of education every 2 years in trauma assessment, intervention and stabilization
National Certification in specialty area preferred
