| The Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital Emergency Center in St. Petersburg, Florida seeks an experienced pediatric emergency medicine physician to serve as Director of Academic Pediatric Emergency Medicine. Academic physicians are full time Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine clinical faculty. Academic rank is open and commensurate with experience. The Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital Emergency Center treats over 49,000 patients a year and is part of a joint trauma program. In addition to providing clinical care, the director will serve as the academic leader for our growing pediatric emergency medicine program and help continue to expand the educational and research mission of Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. The position also entails coordinating and teaching medical students, pediatric residents and fellows within our pediatric residency program (and the University of South Florida pediatric residency program as well). Additionally, the director will supervise efforts to develop a new PEM fellowship program at JHACH. |
